Dear Ms. Rygalski:
Your request concerning the pumping and hauling of approximately one million gallons
of-stormwater has been reviewed -by this office.
As detailed in your request, you plan to pump and haul stormwater from PNA's on site
cooling water. retention basin. This stormwater'will be hauled'to the City of Laurinburg's
POTW via one of the nearby lift stations..
By this letter, you are authorized to commence pumping and hauling the aforementioned
stor_ eater effective immediately. This authorization. -may be modified, reissued or rescinded
should the Division of Water Quality discover that Pilkington is in violation of North Carolina
rules/regulations pertaining to the pumping, hauling and/or disposal of such waste or if future
rules/regulations prohibit authorizations of this nature. In addition, all pumping and hauling
activities shall cease if the City of Laurinburg rescinds the aforementioned authorization or if the
City of Laurinburg can not effectively treat this pumped and hauled waste. }
