We received your application for coverage under NPDES Stormwater General Permit NCGO80000
on May 31, 2023. Prior to receiving the application,Jerry Eplin with the Mooresville Regional Office
conducted a site visit on May 4,2023 to determine the validity of the facility's current coverage
under General Permit NCG130000.
The industrial activities occurring onsite do not include vehicle maintenance areas,which is the
primary covered activity of General Permit NCG080000.Stormwater Program staff determined the
facility's activities are best covered under the current COC,NCG130079. General Permit
NCG130000 will begin required baseline analytical monitoring for pH,Total Suspended Solids,and
Chemical Oxygen Demand on a quarterly basis starting January 1 2024.Stormwater Program Staff
have determined those parameters adequately capture the pollutants of concern from this site.
With this letter,your application is being returned to you.You should continue to operate under
General Permit NCG130000 and review the provision of the renewed General Permit.
