eDMR Comments: "We took down a clarifier on March 7th for service. It was put back in service on March 22nd. During this time,
we had an increase in solids to the other clarifier which pushed solids to the polishing ponds. We believe it caused our increase in
ammonia during this time. To prevent this in the future we should have better communication between departments and better
planning."
JSB Remarks: ORC has been in contact with DWR about these issues due to plant maintenance, reporting upsets and
exceedances as they occur. High TSS/turbidity due to cleaning/sludge management was observed in the chlorine contact
chamber and post aeration chamber during a CEI on 4/3/23, believed to be related to these events.
