This overflow took place at 3505 Century Oaks Dr in Durham, NC 27713. The spill was for 6,000 gallons, all of which was reported as reaching surface water. The overflow took place through a privately owned manhole located within the Amer Oaks Apartment Complex. Scott Vinson of this office verified the data provided by the City of Durham in this matter. After communicating with Mr. Roberson and reviewing submitted information, this office has determined that the subject collection system is not in violation of the subject collection system permit, and the subject NOV letter dated June 5th, 2023, against Collection System Permit WQCS00005 is hereby rescinded. We appreciate Mr. Roberson communicating with staff about this matter and have updated our files and database system accordingly.
