Hello Mr. Pitner: I am working on the Duke Energy Oxford Hydro Station -Jetty Modification project (Catawba County). The NCDEQ-DWR ID number for the project is 20230769, Version 1. Ms. Jennifer Lawrence, USACE, sent an email to me today indicating that the Corps is providing provisional notification for the project; however, that the proposed work may be authorized by the above referenced general permit provided a 401 Certification is issued or waived. The project would be authorized under NWP39. The Corps ID is SAW-2023- 01124. 1 have attached Ms. Lawrence's email herein. I am following up on her email to see if you need any additional information from me (WSP) or Duke Energy for your Section 401 WQC review.
