Good Afternoon,
We received your application for a new post-construction stormwater permit on 6/29/2022. At this time, the submission
is not administratively complete and cannot be accepted for review in its current condition. Please provide the following
submittal items within 30 calendar days (by close of business on 8/24/2022) so that we may accept the project and
begin the review process, otherwise, the project will be returned as administratively incomplete.
Contact information (email address and phone number) for the Property Owner. This item is required per 15A
NCAC 02H .1042(2)(a)(ix).
1x hard copy of the complete Application Form. This item is required per 15A NCAC 02H .1042(2)(a). An original,
notarized signature is required in Section IX of the Application (since the Property Owner is not the Applicant).
1x hard copy of the property deed. This item is required per Section VI, 10 of the Application.
2x signed & sealed hard copies of a plan sheet showing the following:
Drainage areas to the proposed SCM. This item is required per Section VI, 8o of the Application and 15A
NCAC 02H .1042(2)(g)(iv). It is noted that the drainage area is included in the calculation booklet,
however, this requirement specifies that the drainage area delineation must be included in the main set
of plans.
NOTE: This is an administrative completeness review, not a detailed engineering review, there may be other issues that
may be brough up during the engineering review.
- You may wish to reach out to Orange County as they may implement the post-construction program within the
unincorporated portions of Orange County that are also within the Jordan Lake Watershed. If Orange County is
not implementing the Jordan Lake Rules at this time, the State will handle the review.
NOTE: Please do not send submittal materials to the Regional Offices, doing so delays the review process.
If these items are received within the stipulated timeframe, we can accept the project and begin the review process.
Once accepted, reviews under the standard permitting process can take up to 90 calendar days per statute (one of our
two reviewer positions is currently vacant).
Hard copies should be mailed to the following address:
