Dear Mr. Davidson:

This letter is in response to the Notice of Violation Polk County Schools received for exceeding the daily
maximum and monthly average for BOD at Polk Central Elementary School on 4/6/23 and 4/30/23.

The first week of May the septic system was reseeded with domestic waste because the bacteria was
dead and I also added dog food to feed the bacteria. For the month of May the facility is compliant and
back online. I will continue to take remedial actions to prevent further occurrences in the future.
