These penalties are now subject to collection by the Attorney General's office (AGO), pursuant to NCGS 143- 215.6A (g). To avoid legal action by the AGO, you must pay the full amount listed above no later than August 1, 2023. Make checks payable to NC DEQ and include the case number[s] on the check[s] submitted.
