RE: Nitrate Sampling Results from Drinking Water Well
1904 Carl Freeman Rd., Stedman, NC
Dear Mr. Weinberg:
This is to inform you about the results of the well testing activity that was
conducted on June.231 2003 by this office.
The results of sampling your well water found it to contain 5.36 milligrams/liter
(mg/1) of nitrate. This level is below the State's groundwater quality standard and
federal EPA -drinking water standard of 10.00 mg/l.
If you have any other questions about your results, please contact me at (910)
486-1541.
Sincerely,
P. Sean Boyles, L.G.

- - The nitrate drinking water standard is 10 pprn. The nitrate level in your well water is
either above or close•to the drinking water standard. Continued consumption, especially
of pregnant woman or infants six months of age and younger, may pose an increased
health risk based on these nitrate levels
