Industrial WWTP The North Carolina EnAronm a nta l Management Commission
proposes to issue a NPIDES wastewater discharge permit to the person(s) listed
below. Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30
days after the publish date of this notice. The Director of the NC Division of Water
Resources (DWR) may hold a public hearing should there be a significant degree of
public interest. Please mail comments and/or i nfo rrn ation requests to DWR at the
above address. Interested persons may is it the DWR at 512 N. Sal i b u Street,
Raleigh., 7 04 to review the information on file. Additional information on
NPIDES permits and this notice may be found on our eb it :

Lauri nburg-M a tom Ai rport Co m m is !on [ 16701 Ai rpo rt Road, Claxton, N C 28354]
has requested renewal of NPIDES permit NCO044725 for its LIVIAC Wastewater
Treatment Plant, located in Robeson County. This permitted facility discharges
treated mu ipal and industrial wastewater to the t_umb r Rver, a class B; Sw: H QW
water in the Lumber River Basin. Currently 8 D, ammonia, TSS, DO, pH, TRC, total
cobalt and total copper are grater quality limited. This discharge may affect future
allocations in this segment of the Lumber Fiver.
