This meeting will occur in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC. The public may attend in person or via the state web conferencing links

adjournment time, the Groundwater and Waste Management Committee (GWWMC) meeting may
be called to order by the GWWMC Vice-Chair fifteen minutes after the previous meeting adjourned.

1. Call to Order and Notice of NCGS §138A-15 Vice-Chair Carter
General Statute §138A-15 mandates that the Chair inquire as to whether any member
knows of any known conflict of interest or appearance of conflict with respect to
matters before the Environmental Management Commission’s Groundwater and Waste
Management Committee. If any member knows of a conflict of interest or appearance
of conflict, please so state at this time.

1. 15A NCAC 02L .0202 Groundwater Quality Standards PFAS Rulemaking
(DEQ) Sushma Masemore and (DWR) Bridget Shelton

The Division of Water Resources will provide an overview of the groundwater quality
standards in 15A NCAC 02L .0202 including how they are calculated and developed.
An overview of an upcoming PFAS rulemaking will also be covered.

2. Statewide PFAS Monitoring of Ambient Groundwater
(DWR) Andy Neal

The Groundwater Management Branch of the Division of Water Resources will provide an overview of statewide PFAS monitoring of ambient groundwater.
