Facility Description: The IPEX USA LLC facility is located on approximately 35.8 acres of property at 10100 Rodney
Street in Pineville. Operations at the facility include the manufacturing and shipping of pipes, valves, fittings, and auxiliary
components for municipal, industrial, and electrical applications.
File Review/History: Charlotte -Mecklenburg Storm Water Services (CMSWS) has conducted previous inspections at
IPEX USA LLC on 05/18/2017, 04/13/2018, 07/18/2018, and 09/10/2018. A Notice of Violation (NOV) was issued on April
16, 2018 for the illicit discharge of residual resin material to catch basins throughout the site that had accumulated at the
facility's outfall. A NOV was also issued on July 19, 2018 for the illicit discharge of treated process wastewater from oil
and water separators at the front and rear of the facility, and for repeated discharges of oil -contaminated mop water and/or
other oily discharges to the ground near the railroad spur.
Inspection Summary: At the time of inspection, IPEX USA LLC was observed to be in compliance with the Mecklenburg
County Surface Water Pollution Control Ordinance. Please refer to the report for comments and recommendations from
the inspection.
