The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Robersonville WWTP on
6/27/2023. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the
conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0026042. The findings and comments
noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled
"Compliance Inspection Report".

Robbie Bullock (DWR WaRO) met with Randy Brown (Envirolink) and Richard Sink (Town of
Robersonville) during the inspection. The review period for this inspection was January 2022 through
April 2023. The facility was issued One Notice of Deficiency, One Notice of Violation and Two Civil
Penalty Assessments over the review period.
The operator states the Influent sampler stopped working over the weekend. A grab sample is taken
until the sampler is replaced. The facility is ordering a new influent sampler.
On the day of the inspection the grit auger was not operational due to a bad motor. The facility is
working on repairing the motor.
On the day of inspection #1 Oxidation Ditch was operational. #2 Oxidation Ditch was not in service
due to low flow. Vegetation growth needs to be removed from the overflow trough on the #2 Oxidation
Ditch
On the day of inspection the #6 Clarifier was offline and not operational. As mentioned in the
February 8, 2022 inspection the gear box for the Clarifier arm needs to be rebuilt. The Town has
received a grant to replace the gear box.
Effluent sampler is on constant time and constant volume with a sample taken every 30 minutes. On
the day of inspection the sampler temperature was 15 degrees C. The facility stated they will add ice
to the sampler to keep the sample cool until the sampler is repaired.
