They have reported only one loss. Located on NC 210 at the western end of the Y-30 detour route, this is the same location on NC210 that we had a previous loss. Ben Meyer stated “It appears that the water coming from existing NC210 overwhelmed the slope drain at the end of the devices that had been installed. Conti is already responding to the location to remove the silt by hand. There are other areas of the project that have sediment built up on SDO’s from the event, but no losses.” See images below.
