Good Morning Group,
R-3300B received 3.5” of rain the evening of 06/25/2023. They have reported only one loss. Located
on NC 210 at the western end of the Y-30 detour route, this is the same location on NC210 that we
had a previous loss. Ben Meyer stated “It appears that the water coming from existing NC210
overwhelmed the slope drain at the end of the devices that had been installed. Conti is already
responding to the location to remove the silt by hand. There are other areas of the project that have
sediment built up on SDO’s from the event, but no losses.”
See images below.
The loss was approximately 2CY of material. I will update the group once that have completed the
clean up efforts. Please advise if anyone needs additional information.
Sincerely,
Jon
