Approximately 8 buckets of visible silt were lost into the creek at Stony Run section A site 5 at 1042+75 LT L. Water flow on the grade was changed when the crane pads were placed and 1.54 inches of rain fell in a 4 hour period, most of which occurred in the first
hour. In the previous 7 days this area has received 5.7 inches of rain. The grade crew had placed wattles along the lower edge of the fill, this effort, along with the fabric and stone captured much of the loss before reaching the JS.
Crews have already begun clean up. An additional slope drain will be installed at the corner and a berm pulled up at the end to prevent reoccurrence. New diversions have been installed across the grade focus water to the slope drains.
