Subject: Written Notification of SW Tier III Status and SW Tier III Action Plan

We are writing on behalf of our client, Greenway Waste Solutions of Harrisburg, LLC located at
2105 Speedrail Court, Harrisburg, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, consisting of a C&D landfill
with composting operations. The landfill is subject to Stormwater General Permit Nos.
NCG120000 and NCG240000.
Our client inadvertently missed the notification requirement with regard to the requirements of
Stormwater Tier III status. Our client contracted us to perform a stormwater management
inspection and prepare a Stormwater Tier III Action Plan.
Greenway Waste Solutions of Harrisburg recognizes their oversight and acknowledges the
importance of managing the stormwater that contacts their operations. To rectify this matter, we
are submitting on behalf of our client, this written notification simultaneously along with the
enclosed Stormwater Tier III Action Plan for your review and approval. Many of the actions stated
in the plan are already completed or are underway to address this matter.
