Hi Kim,
I understand that Katharine asked for some additional details/plans to ensure hydrology will be maintained in
jurisdictional features. Please copy DWR when you provide that information so that we may include it within our
review. DWR will consider the project on hold again until the information is provided.

Hi Kim and Tony,

Let's shoot for 8:45am? I'll be driving to a 10am site visit appointment in Richlands so if possible lets not use Teams and
just see if we can conference call?
Discussion items:
• Sheet 4 of 8: Hydrologic connectivity needs to be obvious and easily understood. Do the arrows along the
ditches indicate flow? Areas of ditches piped vs. relocated should be clearly differentiated (shading/fill pattern
etc.). Where the ditches are planned to be relocated needs to be shown. Especially important for RPW 1,2,3,
12, both ends of RPW 11 (after -the -fact). The previous phases of Stateside have already removed hydrology
from a wetland pocket that was left undeveloped. I want to do what I can to prevent that in these phases.
Sheet 5 of 8: Was this RPW in deed piped? Size of the pipe and cross section available?
• Sheets 6, 7, and 8- The plans don't indicate how connectivity will be maintained at the crossings. Are culverts
planned? It needs to be obvious on the plans how these areas within the Mitigation Bank will remain
connected. Cross -sections depicting pipe location and amount of burial if needed will also be required.
Happy Thursday,

Hi Katharine
Tony with Tidewater and I are available tomorrow morning for a call. If you have any specific questions you can send
our way prior to the meeting, that may help us be better prepared to address them.
Let me know what time tomorrow works for you.
Thanks!

Hi Kim,
I reviewed the plans and your responses. I have a few comments and questions, mostly in regard to the plans and
hydrologic connectivity. Maybe we can have a short call or I can make a list either way is fine with me. It might be
beneficial to have someone from Tidewater on the call or whoever is drawing the plans.
Also, Mickey and I were in the area Tuesday meeting Wes at another site and we tried to drive into the eastern section
of the Stateside project area to look at the crossings but couldn't get through any of the gates. I'd like to schedule a
quick visit to do that at some point.
I have some time today to discuss and tomorrow before 10.
Thanks!
