CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE FOR PHASE 1
per 15A NCAC 02H .1043(3)(g) and per Section F, 5 of the Application
(NO ADDITIONAL PHASES IN THE FUTURE)
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE:
a. Locate or show Denuded Limits of project.
b. Install Temporary Construction Entrance / Exit (TCEE)
C. Install Silt Fence (SF) Le. All perimeter measures as shown. Then install sediment pond
or sediment basin along with temporary diversion berms/ditches.
d. Begin clearing and grubbing of Stumps & Trees within Denuded Limits for removal to
approved site or grinding operation. Removal or grinding shall be at the Contractor's
discretion or within his/her proposal for work. Temporary Diversion Ditch / Berms
(TDB) as shown on plans.
e. Grade & install matting with correct seeding for proposed ditches. NOTE: "Correct
Seeding" is required by the contractor to meet where the 7 or 14 day ground
stabilization requirements apply per NPDES Construction Stormwater General Permit,
NCGO10000 in the upper left hand corner of Page 2 OF 11.
f. Begin "fine grading" process including parking lot & building pad on grade. Upon
completion of fine grading, begin warehouse building construction. Install slope
matting or blankets with correct seeding as grading proceeds i.e. Slope matting or
blankets shall be installed by the end of each working day to reduce potential sediment
runoff should there be a rain event overnight.
g. Contractor shall inspect all sediment & erosion control measures weekly or after any
rain event greater than 1/2" during a 24 hour event. Corrective actions must be taken
immediately should there be a failure.
h. Upon stabilization of site, contractor shall switch over existing sediment pond to
permanent wet pond. Orifice shall be plugged that skimmer is connected to precast
box. Shape up FOREBAY and wet pond.
i. Apply final lift of asphalt to parking lot & driveway entrance.
j. Once site is stabilized contractor shall notify Engineer & NCDEQ-DEMLR for close out or
removal of SEC Measures.
