Stormwater monitoring is performed at Sanford Hauling under Permit No. NCG080717. On behalf of Sanford
Hauling, WSP USA Inc., is providing the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR)for the first quarter
stormwater sampling event of 2023. Samples were collected from outfall SDO#1 on March 2, 2023. Total
suspended solids (TSS)were reported at a concentration above the benchmark value and Oil and Grease
concentration was below the reporting limit and benchmark value for this event. The field parameter, pH, was
recorded within the allowable benchmark range. The facility will initiate Tier 1 status and implement the
requirements of Part E-5 of the General Permit.
