The revisions include the addition of retaining walls to achieve 3:1 bank slopes, and the modification of a perimeter grassed swale to direct stormwater runoff from the cross culvert under Holden Beach Road to the existing ditch at the rear of the property. Also, the proposed perimeter swale has been revised from a V-swale to a trapezoidal swale. There was no additional built -upon area constructed. It has been determined that a formal permit modification is not required for the proposed changes. We are forwarding you an approved copy of the revised plans for your files. Please replace the old approved plan sheets with the new ones. Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the permit issued on November 25, 2014, remain in full force and effect, except as amended herein. Please also understand that the approval of this revision to the approved plans or to the permit for the subject State Stormwater project is done on a case -by -case basis. Any other changes to this project must be approved through this Office prior to construction. The issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from complying with all other applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may have jurisdiction over the proposed activity, and obtaining a permit or approval prior to construction. Please be reminded that it is your responsibility as the permittee of record to submit a completed and signed Name/Ownership Change Form to the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources 60 days prior to any of the ownership change events listed in Section 3.1 of the permit. Subject: RE: Hazy's Plaza - Holden Beach Stormwater Permit SW8 141106 Arnie, It looks like the main changes are that you have added a retaining wall on one side, and extended a bypass Swale around the other corner and down the back property line. Since these drainage issues are under County jurisdiction and they do not directly affect the stormwater system, we do not need for you to do anything else at this time. Revised plans were approved for this project September 2015. Since that time, the plans have been revised to meet the maximum slope requirements of Land Quality. Land Quality just approved the attached plans. Revisions also included adding a grassed swale alone the rear of the property to provide a direct discharge to the existing ditch. The Swale was added to eliminate the discharge to the rear adjacent property (which existed prior to construction). The attached are provided for your review and approval. Thank you.
