RE: Request for Nationwide Permits
Hominy Creek /I -240 Sewer Line
City of Asheville
Buncombe County, North Carolina
Dear Mr. Baker:
Please find enclosed one (1) copy of a completed and executed application entitled
"Joint Form for Nationwide Permits" for the above project. This project consists of
construction of new 12" and 8" sewer lines, beginning on the north side of Hominy Creek,
crossing the creek, and proceeding southerly for approximately 3,950 lineal feet, crossing I-
240. The construction of this sewer line is necessary due to the annexation of the surrounding
property by the City of Asheville. This project has been designed to avoid and /or lessen the
impact to wetland areas within the proposed sewer route, taking into consideration the
comments you offered during your field visit with Dale Pennell of our office on November
25, 1996. This submittal includes a vicinity map and copies of the construction plans and
details for the construction of this sewer line.
By copy of this letter, we are transmitting copies of this submittal to the following
