PROJECT NARRATIVE
Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church Gravity Sewer Relocation
1218 Main Street
Town of Blowing Rock, Watauga County, NC
5-5- 2 11-5
This Fast -Track Sewer Application is for a total of 136 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC
gravity sewer to be installed under the parking lot of Rumple Memorial Presbyterian
Church to the existing 8-inch sewer main under Wallingford Road in the Town of Blowing
Rock. The new 8-inch gravity sewer will be installed during the addition of the new
Fellowship Hall to the existing church building. The 8-inch gravity sewer is being relocated
on the site due to being more accessible to receive the new 4" gravity sewer services that
will be installed during the Fellowship Hall addition. Once the new 8-inch gravity sewer
has been installed, tested and certified, the existing 8" gravity sewer for the site will be
abandoned. No new sewage flow is expected for this project.
