Crown Box Corporation PO Box 2538 Wilmington, NC 28401 Subject: ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT AND REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Stormwater Project No. SW8 000630 Federal Express Ground New Hanover County Dear Mr. Kraly: The Wilmington Regional Office received a Stormwater Management Permit Application for Federal Express Ground on June 19, 2000. A preliminary review of that information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is needed to continue the stormwater review: Delineate all wetlands on site, or note on the plans that none exist. Provide the project boundary line delineating the 3.19 acres of project area. On the pond detail the forebay bottom and main pond bottom elevations are interchanged. On the outlet structure detail the elevations look to be from a previous project. None of the elevations given are even remotely close to what they should be. Please correct the plans. 5. Please dimension the permanent pool. 6. Please provide the 3:1, Length:Width requirement for the pond. The forebay has been designed to have approimately 24% of the permanent pool volume. Please restrict the volume of the forebay to a range of 19-22% of the total permanent pool volume. 127 Cardinal Dr. Ext., Wilmington, North Carolina 28405 Telephone 910-395-3900 FAX 910-350-2004 An Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer 50%, recycled/10%U post -consumer paper Mr. Kral), July 25, 2000 Stormwater Project No. SW8 000630 Please note that this request for additional information is in response to a preliminary review.
