Notice of Intent to Issue a NPDES wastewater permit.
The Town of Holly Springs [P.O. Box 8, Holly Springs, NC 27540) has requested
renewal of NPDES Permit N00063096 for its Utley Creek Water Reclamation
Facility in Wake County. This permitted facility discharges treated municipal and
industrial wastewater to the Utley Creek, a class C water in the Cape Fear River
Basin. Some of the parameters in this permit are water quality limited. This dis-
charge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Cape Fear River. The
Town of Cary [PO Box 8005, Cary, NC 275121 has requested renewal of NPDES
permit NCO088846 for its Western Wake Regional Water Reclamation Facility,
located in Wake County. This facility discharges treated municipal and industrial
wastewater to the Cape Fear River in the Cape Fear River Basin. Some of the pa-
rameters in the permit are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future
allocations in this segment of the Cape Fear River. Written comments regarding
the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publish date. The
Director of the NC Division of Water Resources may hold a public hearing should
there be a significant degree of public interest. Interested persons may visit the
DWR at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC, 27699. Please mail comments and/
or information requests to DWR at the address listed above. Additional infor-
