Stormwater General Permit SWG04 Application
This is a resubmittal for the SWG04 permit in response to comments received February
14, 2023. Attached for this submittal are:
• One (1) updated SWG04 General Permit NOI
• Two (2) updated full size sets of plans
Responses to the comments we received are below:
1. 1x hard copy of the Application with the following corrections made:
a. Item 4 — Please list all of the receiving streams that are applicable to this project
(This information can be found at the following web address:
lulliab"'rt..i.rt urt:...lb :;":'rt..ia,rt urt'/'/7rt.,.:''a.,/4Sa,4""74 7":'i•
NOTE: Please also revise Item 5 if needed.
i. Response: The streams we are impacting have been listed in Item 4. We
are still in the same River Basin and all streams are classified as C so no
edits to Item 5 are needed.
b. Item 7 — This project crosses numerous surface waters. Please ensure that the
surface area of these surface waters is excluded from the total project area.
i. Response: The area of the surface waters for the project have been
calculated and removed from the total project area. See calculation by
Item 7.
c. Item 15 — Please provide an original signature on the Application.
i. Response: The revised signed permit application has been lost in the USPS
mail. To expedite the process, a permit form has been printed from a
digital signature. The originally signed permit form is being sent directly to
you from Union County.
2. 2x hard copies of the plans with the following corrections made:
a. Please indicate the vegetated setbacks from surface waters on the plans (Section A,
7i). Vegetated setbacks are measured from the bank of surface waters (any
waterbody that shows up on the USGS topo map) and are 30' wide in this part of the
State.
i. Response: See updated plans for delineation of the 30' wide stream buffer.
b. Please provide a calculation for the total amount of BUA for this project (Section A,
7j). You can put this information into a simple table.
Response: A calculation of the impervious area has been added in the
permit form under Item 8 as well as in the drawings on drawing C-00-002.
