Notice of Intent to Issue a NPDES
Wastewater Permit The North Caroli-
na Environmental Management Com-
mission proposes to issue a NPDES
wastewater discharge permit to the
person(s) listed below. Written com-
ments regarding the proposed permit
will be accepted until 30 days after
the publish date of this notice. The
Director of the NC Division of Water
Resources (DWR) may hold a public
hearing should there be a significant
degree of public interest. Please mail
comments and/or information re-
quests to DWR at the above address.
Interested persons may visit the DWR
at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh,
INC 27604 to review the information
on file. Additional information on NP-
DES permits and this notice may be
found on our website: https://deq.
nc.gov/public-notices-hearings,or
by calling (919) 707-3601.The John-
ston County Board of Education has
requested renewal of NPDES permit
NCO038938 for its Corinth -Holder
Elementary School WWTP (3976 NC
Hwy 231, Zebulon, INC). This facility
discharges to the Little River/Neuse
River Basin. Currently, fecal coliform
and total residual chlorine are water
quality limited. This discharge may
affect future allocations in this portion
of the watershed. AQUA North Car-
olina, Inc. applied to renew NPDES
permit NCO065714 for its Tradewinds
Subdivision WWTP, south of Wake
Crossroads (off NCSR 2227), Wake
County, discharging treated wastewa-
ter to Harris Creek, Neuse River Basin.
Currently BOD, Ammonia, and Fecal
Coliform are water -quality limited. This
discharge may affect future waste -
load allocations in this portion of the
Neuse River Basin. Lampe & Malphrus
Lumber Company requested renewal
of NPDES permit NCO080519 for the
Tenth Street Sawmill (210 N Tenth St,
Smithfield, NC] in Johnston County.
This facility discharges wet -decking
wastewater to an unnamed tributary
to Buffalo Creek/Neuse River Basin.
Currently Settleable Solids is wa-
ter -quality limited. This discharge may
affect future wasteload allocations in
this portion of Buffalo Creek.

RALEIGH was inserted in the aforesaid newspaper on
