I’ve reviewed your request to install approximately 230 linear feet of sheet piling around the synchro lift at the Ferry
shipyard in Manns Harbor, Dare County. Water Quality Certification No. 3900 which corresponds to the USACE Regional
Permit 198000291 is issued for this activity (DWR project # 15-0624). Written authorization is not required for use of
this certification provided all the thresholds and conditions can be met. If any of the thresholds and conditions cannot
be met, written approval will be required. Let me know if you have any questions.
