Location description: The site is located in waters adiacent to 412 Roland Avenue, at the existing Surf City Marina, in Surf
City, Pender County, North Carolina. PIN: 4235-80-4097-0000.
Description of Activity: The applicant proposes to accommodate an additional 11 boat slips and increase the total number of
boat slips to 25 in the marina's existing footprint, by double loading the existing slips. No work or construction will occur
within Navigable waters or wetlands.
Your work as proposed does not require Department of the Army authorization for the following reason(s):

A jurisdictional determination was not completed with this request. This letter does not address nor include any
consideration for jurisdiction on aquatic resources and shall not be interpreted as such. This is not an appealable

further instruction.

This Department of the Army determination does not relieve the permittee of the responsibility to obtain any other required Federal,
State, or local approvals/permits. The permittee may need to contact appropriate State and local agencies before beginning work.

Management in Morehead City, North Carolina, at [phone] to discuss any required State authorization.
