Thank you for providing the updated permit drawings documenting the revised oyster structure
arrangement. After reviewing the proposed changes, DWR has no objection to handing this as a
field adjustment. Please accept this email as the official notification for the approval of modifying
the M-0540A permit (WQ Certification No. 004907).
All authorized activities and conditions associated with the original Water Quality Certification dated
June 22, 2022 still apply.
If additional change are needed, the Division must be notified, and you may be required to submit a
new application package with the appropriate fees.

Please reference my email below (and attachments) requesting a modification of the subject CAMA
permit. After reviewing the request, could you both reply that the proposed changes which are
described in the attachments will qualify for a field adjustment and that the original permits
(General permit 198000291 and WQ Certification No. 004907) will not need to be modified or
reissued?

Please find attached a letter of request to modify the subject permit for the M-0540A project along
NC 24 in Onslow County. Also find attached a revised oyster structure layout plan sheet, a revised
wetland impacts summary table, and a Sandbar oyster specification sheet which shows the type of
oyster structure that will be used.
