Comments: D. Impact Justification and Mitigation 1. Avoidance and Minimization 1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project. Applicant requested design of asphalt trail to be within existing cleared trails /gravel road and sanitary sewer easements to the maximum extent practicable. Additionally, the north side of the lake amenity area has utilized the footprint of existing structures to avoid additional riparian buffer impacts. Finally, during the trial construction, high DBH trees will be avoided to the maximum extent practicable. Also important to note that impacts to wetlands and stream have been avoided throughout the site plan. 1 b.
