Inspection Summary:
On May 26, 2023, the referenced facility was inspected by Jerry Eplin and Rebecca Edwards of the Mooresville Regional
Office of DEMLR. The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate a permit recission request.
The referenced facility was vacant upon arrival. The only on -site personnel appeared to be construction personnel working
on remodeling the office area.
Based upon telephone conversation with the previous owner of the facility, Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC (Andy Meinerz),
the facility was sold to GTIS Acquisitions, LLC in April 2023. Mr. Meinerz was not aware of the activities that GTIS
Acquisitions has planned for the facility. Mr. Meinerz was asked for contact information for the new owners, and he indicated
that he would provide these if he locates any. As of May 30, 2023 no contacts have been provided.
Confirmed via property records that the property is now owned by GTIS AF LLC and the sale date was April 19, 2023.
Based upon this information, MRO recommends approving the recision request.
