Prior to start of work, contractor shall have all materials and equipment on -site. For utility crossings with casings, the carrier pipe shall be installed within the casing pipe prior to any open cut activities. Contractor shall install a temporary coffer dam on the upstream side of the proposed crossing and pump water around the open cut area to the downstream side. Contractor shall place the culvert or utility casing with carrier pipe at elevations shown on the approved plans and backfill in accordance with Brunswick County specifications. Contractor shall restore channel and stabilize any disturbance within 24-hours of start of work. Contractor shall restore wetland areas with temporary impact or permanent conversion to impact to pre -construction contours, and plant an appropriate wetland or riparian seed mix.
