Inspection Summary:
Site inspection was conducted on May 24, 2023 by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office. Ross Straup and
Jon Osipovitch were present during the inspection. The following are items that need attention:
- Station 969+00 LT (Site 11) - JB at outlet still needs to be added. Contractor discussed adding more measures along
haul road and at base of slope before forecasted rain. DWR agrees that more measures are needed.
- Station Y6 32+00 LT (Site 18) - Cover slopes adjacent to junction box. Ensure area is meeting NPDES cover
requirements.
- Station L 779+50 LT - Extend slope drain away from JS. Add ground cover on slope to meet cover requirements.
