General Comments: Use a label with a leader to call out Temporary Impacts in Surface Waters. Greg Price, NCDOT NES, will provide a list of streams that have different mitigation requirements which will be used to breakout the different streams in the Summary. Will Hines, Sungate Design Group (SDG), will provide a list of streams where the location of the stream shown in the FS file does not match the SDG survey. This list will be used in requesting that NCDOT L&S revise the FS file to match the SDG survey or resurvey. When resubmitting the SMP, provide decimal coordinates for the HSB's. Plan Sheet 7: Other than the General Comments, there were no other specific comments for Site 1 discussed. Plan Sheet 8: The question was asked whether the impact between Site 2 and Site 3 is shown as Permanent or Temporary. After looking at the Micro Station iile, it has been verified that it is shown as a Permanent Impact. Site 4: Will Hines, SDG, announced that a Right-of-way revision will be submitted moving the proposed Right-of-way out of the pond and onto the proposed Rock Fill. Plan Sheet 9: Site 7(Station 94+00 -L- Right): Show impact to small JS; Label as Site 7A. Plan Sheet 10: Site 7: Breakout stream bank stabilization in the Summary. Energy Dissipater (Station 100+70 -L- Lt): Provide the 10 Year Velocity on the Permit Drawing. Plan Sheet 11: Site 8: Breakout the smaller stream and label the two streams Site 8A and Site 8B. Plan Sheet 12: Site 10 (Station 128+00 -L- Lt): Show impact to small JS; Label as Site 10A. Label Begin JS. Plan Sheet 13: Site 11: Show Temporary Impacts to small JS located upstream of the cross-pipe. Label Site 11A. Plan Sheet 14: Station 26+00 -Y16- Left: Utilities asked if the potential impact to the existing waterlines can be eliminated. NCDOT Hydraulics has requested elevations on the existing waterlines. Plan Sheet 15: Site 12 (Station 157+50 -L- Lt): NCDOT NES to investigate whether the stream downstream of the pond is a JS. Site 12 (Station l 57+50 -L- Lt): NCDOT NES to investigate the wetland to determine if it will be a Permanent or Temporary Impact. Label as Site 12A. Site 13: Revise Fill in Wetland to include the portion of the wetland located within the pond. Site 13: Show Temporary JS impacts upstream of the cross-pipe. Site 13: Will Hines, SDG, announced that a Right-of-way revision will be submitted moving the proposed Right-of-way out of the pond and onto the proposed Rock Fill. Plan Sheet 16: Site 15: Show the Baffle Detail from the Culvert Survey Report on the Permit Drawing. Add TS upstream of the box culvert. Check the Box Culvert Construction Sequence for any additional impacts. Plan Sheet 27 Station 24+00 -Y16RPA- Right: The question was asked if this was a JS. According to the most recent WET file and to NCDOT NES, this is not a JS. Plan Sheet 29 Site 17: Breakout bank stabilization in the Summary. Site 17: The JS stream location does not match the SDG survey. NCDOT L&S to be asked to resurvey this site. Site 17: Show Temporary Impact to Surface Waters in the Construction Easement located downstream of the box culvert. Plan Sheet 30 Site 18: Breakout bank stabilization (upstream only) in the Summary. Plan Sheet 31 Site 20: Check pipe size shown in the Summary Site 20: NCDOT NES to verify JS location. Specifically where the JS ends. Site 20: SDG to investigate whether the impacts downstream of the cross-pipe can be reduced. Meeting adjourned.
