RE: Watershed Protection Ordinance Amendment Justification, Manns Chapel
ll, LLC
Dear Mr. Sullivan,
As requested, Manns Chapel II, LLC and the Pantry Inc. and Circle K Stores, Inc.
are requesting a modification to the Watershed Protection boundary line that
currently traverses their respective properties.
The proposed Watershed Protection Boundary is based on ground run topographic
survey and evaluation of the existing drainage patterns on and downstream of the
subject properties. The topography, boundary, and drainage patterns are reflected
on the sealed surveys included with the application.
The majority of the Pantry/Circle K property is currently mapped in the WS-II BW
watershed; however, southern portions of this property actually flow to the south
and to the US-15/501 right-of-way within the WS-IV PA drainage basin.
Similarly northern portions of the Manns Chapel II, LLC property are mapped in the
WS-II BW watershed; however, as evidenced by topographic survey these areas
sheet flow both east and west across the property before surface draining south
within the WS-IV PA basin.
