The county received a request for an amendment to the county's Watershed Protection Map on a
property that spans the WS-11 Balance of Watershed and WS-IV Protected Area watershed districts
at the intersection of US 15-50IN and Manns Chapel Road. Per the guidance document you
previously provided I have attached a copy of the following documents:
• Request from the applicant on behalf of the property owner.
• Signed and sealed survey with existing watershed boundaries.
• Signed and sealed map showing existing watershed boundary and proposed with topography
and stormwater flow.
• Local program staff report explain the request to the Board of Commissioners.
• Certification from the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners attesting that the BOC
authorizes the request.
The request is for NC EMC approval of the proposed watershed boundary change in order for the
Commissioners to proceed with formally amending the watershed protection map. Please let me
