Mr. Durler has been working with Helen Bunch with Brunswick County Planning and Zoning
about relocating the road and she stated that it's not possible to put the driveway on the east
side of the property due to the NCDOT widening project on Hwy 211. Ms. Bunch said that
NCDOT is putting a u-turn near this location and driveways needed to maintain a minimum
distance from the u-turns and apparently a driveway at the eastern boundary would not meet
this. Therefore, a driveway on the western side of the property is needed for this project.
