There was lots of previously forested area that had to be cut down and replanted in order to perform stream restoration. This makes up a large part of the roughly 15 acre preservation area. There are no monitoring lots in this preservation area so it may be difficult to know how successful these area are. Photo 1. Conservation easement sign not part of the project. Easement corner for this project would be in river. Provider asked if we need to add easement sign in water but was worried about it being washed away. Photo 2. Unmanaged vegetation along bank around Veg Plot 10. Photo 3. Unmanaged vegetation near Plot 11. Patches of no stems. Photo 4: Vegetation around plot 2. Stems were present but difficult to consistently find. Photo 5: Area where streams merge by plot 1 Photo 5: Area overgrwon with wildflowers all around Veg. plot 3. Definitely were some gaps in planting likely from where planting crew could now access area that were supposed to be planted due to untreated overgrown vegetation Photo 7: Overgrown area starting around the bank of plot 10 and extending north to the easement boundary. Varies between 5-15 feet from the stream bank. Claimed as restoration but clearly there are no stems planted within it. Photo 8: Fallen tree in restoration area north of plot 10. Photo 9: Very wet area near easement boundary East of plot 3
