Close-Out Checklist
To complete the close-out process for Waterstone Medical Office Building, the Permittee must submit or demonstrate the
following items to the Stormwater and Environmental Services Division.
Operation and Maintenance Easement and Agreement covering all Stormwater Control
Measures(SCMs), notarized,signed, and recorded, providing access via a public road
Detailed as-built survey(PDF preferred) showing the entire site stormwater system and
separate detailed drawings of each stormwater control measure design with key
elevations
Certification by licensed engineer of constructed stormwater controls
Final inspection and acceptance by the Town of Hillsborough Stormwater and
Environmental Services following engineer's certification

Congratulations, the town has accepted the stormwater control measures recently constructed on the Waterstone
Medical Office Building property. Please review the SCM operation and maintenance easement and agreement for this
property, previously recorded with the Orange County Register of Deeds, which outlines the SCM maintenance
requirements.
Annual inspection reports are due annually on September 1.This inspection must be performed by a qualified
professional certified by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service for SCM inspection (Unified Development
Ordinance Section 6.20.8.2).
Your first inspection report will be due September 1,2024.
