Hi Sue,

I did check out the upper portion of that particular feature. I remember it mostly being a dry roadside ditch. If I recall
correctly, it could’ve gone either way between ephemeral and intermittent. Due to it mostly just being a vegetated
ditch, I left it as ephemeral.

Subject: Buffer Determination question

Hey Joe,

I have an application where you conducted the buffer determination and something is unclear to me:

The NBRRO# is 22-064

For stream S2 the table says “from off property to confluence” is subject and there’s a star on the map at the property
line. But on the soils map that stream goes up pretty far and into another portion of the property (see area circled in
Blue)

They also submitted a USACE JD map that shows that stream is present in that upper area of the property:

So my question is, do you remember if you went up to that area and said there wasn’t a buffered stream or if you just
went to the area where there was a star on your map and didn’t see the upper portion?
