I have copied the Wilmington Regional Office staff on this correspondence to make them aware of the repairs planned for the near future.. Christine, I have a couple of questions. • Will the waste level be kept at or below 60 inches until the vegetation is established on the repair area? o It is our intent to keep the lagoon water as low as possible until vegetation is established in the top 24- inches. • Will the vegetation on the repair areas be sufficient to prevent future wave erosion? o For an earthen lined lagoon it is our belief that this repair will be sufficient. The current plan is to restore the wave eroded lagoon dike inside face to the original grade. With the current spring weather our goal is to complete this work ASAP (May 15-19) while water levels are at lower levels. We appreciate your timely review and consideration of this repair plan.
