Hello Mr. Dorney,
I am writing to you to express my support for the removal of the Dillsboro Dam. I am a kayaker from
east Tennesse and I often travel to western North Carolina paddling destinations. Removal of the
Dillsboro Dam will eliminate a barrier to both kayakers and aquatic life. Removal of the dam will
bring the river closer to its natural state which is more in line with the natural beauty that western
North Carolina is noted for. Thank you for your consideration.
