Construction of the facilities associated with the Western Wake project has been completed. A summary of the facilities associated with the project is as follows: • West Cary Pump Station • West Cary Force Main • West Reedy Branch Gravity Sewer • Beaver Creek Gravity Sewer • Beaver Creek Pump Station • Beaver Creek Force Main • Western Wake Water Reclamation Facility • Effluent Pump Station • Effluent Force Main • Site 14 Apex Water and Sewer Extension The attached table depicts the jurisdictional areas for which either the permanent impact total or the location of the permanent impacts are not as described in the pre- construction permitting information. In total, an additional 0.1 acres of permanent jurisdictional wetlands and 8 feet fewer permanent jurisdictional stream impacts occurred during construction of the transmission lines than was included in the permit for the project. In addition, the Town of Apex plans to install gates to limit access to the area and restore denuded areas that have resulted from unauthorized vehicles accessing the Site 14 Apex Water and Sewer Extension easements. All work has been completed in the project areas and in accordance with the 401/404 permit requirements and the requirements of the Environmental Impact Statement with the exception of the Special Permit Condition x) Permit Conditions Regarding Water and Sewer Extension Policy, which is still ongoing.
