Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application: residential shoreline in urgent need of maintenance due to erosion Residential, undeveloped, etc. 6. Property Size .47 Acres 7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): Maintenance is necessary to replace the buffer wall to prevent further erosion and the collapsing of the existing wall. We will replace all wooden wall supports and add new pylons( a total of 13pylons )to stabilize the buffer wall. We will add wood decking over the shoreline (1lft depthl8 ft wide x 35 ft long). We will add riprap 77sgft x 12sgft to the shoreline. We will add steps (4x 12ft) right side in the buffer. All work will be completed according to NC building standards. 8.
