residential shoreline in urgent need of maintenance due to erosion

7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
Maintenance is necessary to replace the buffer wall to prevent further erosion and the collapsing of the existing wall. We will
replace all wooden wall supports and add new pylons( a total of 13pylons )to stabilize the buffer wall. We will add wood decking
over the shoreline (1lft depthl8 ft wide x 35 ft long). We will add riprap 77sgft x 12sgft to the shoreline. We will add steps
(4x 12ft) right side in the buffer. All work will be completed according to NC building standards.
