It appears that the permit plans used the old topography/terrain map showing the channel. The Rocky River shoreline has shifted north over the past 30+ years since the topography map was made. That channel now connects to the Rocky River approximately 60 feet east of the new riprap for the new bridge. Pages 2 and 3 of the attached maps show the change in the river and the channel connection. If you need additional information please let me know. The permit plansheets (also attached) show a stream (as does the topo map). It appears to be Little Cedar Creek that splits and then discharges to the River. A real head scratcher because I did not see any sort of channel. Not a big deal, the drainage must all go the right instead of to the bridge. Maybe the next time you are out there you could confirm the point where Little Cedar Creek discharges to the river. Everything else looked ok with the turbidity curtain and NPDES records. Remind 1 them about providing more detail on the records regarding the weekly inspections—SDOs, turbidity curtain etc. Even a little detail is better than none. Thanks.
