The resolution involved the acceptance by the Town of Aberdeen of 300 acres within their jurisdiction with 30 acres of allocation available for 10/70 development in the Drowning Creek watershed. In some instances, the Division may choose to forward an ordinance or other matter to the Water Quality Committee (WQC) for review. In addition, a local government may request in writing to have the WQC make the approval decision, or they may request that the WQC reconsider a decision made by the Division.
