Good morning Mr. Washington,
DWR is requesting additional information regarding avoidance and minimization and compliance with the regional
conditions of the USACE NW 29. The proposed wetland fill depicted in the plans appears to be for the construction of a
road and buildings. In accordance with 15 A NCAC 02H .0506 (b)(1) the Division shall evaluate if the proposed
activity: has avoided and minimized impacts to surface waters and wetlands to ensure any remaining surface waters or
wetlands, and any surface waters or wetlands downstream, continue to support existing uses during and after project
completion. The DWR is placing your application on hold until such time as the following requested additional
information has been provided to complete the review:
Have the proposed impacts been determined if they are within the existing conservation easement?
Where are the water and sewer lines going to be located within the development, and where do they connect to
the existing sanitary sewer lines?
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(c) the applicant shall furnish all the above requested information for the proper
consideration of the application. If all the requested information is not received in writing within 30 calendar days of
receipt of this email, the DWR will be unable to approve the application and DWR will move to deny your application as
required by 15A NCAC 2H.0506. The denial of this project will necessitate reapplication to the DWR for approval,
including a complete application package and the appropriate fee. I hope this information is helpful and feel free to call
