Comments:
Mr. Harrington called to provide the following comments regarding the subject project.
• Tributaries to Gulf Creek and Gulf Creek were clear prior to mining. They are now
impacted by sedimentation from the clay mine.
• Any leakage by liners would also impact these streams.
• Duke should put ash on their sites.
• 1 don't understand moving ash all over the state.
• If coal ash has to be transported off of Duke sites then it should be sites closer to
the source.
