Subject: Conetoe II Solar Substation Layout
Thanks for your help with the Conetoe 2 Solar project Lyn, Pat, Roberto & Craig. We look
forward to meeting with you tomorrow Lyn, Pat & Roberto. The proposed substation is
located immediately east of the Leigh Road homes. It is located in a recently farmed soy bean
field & will be utilizing part of an existing road. Attached are 2 items illustrating the proposed
location.
• CAD drawing overlaid on GIS aerial
• GIS 2013 aerial with substation perimeter
The existing entrance road is immediately south of a perennial stream. We will be utilizing this
road area for the substation construction and maintenance.
We have a site meeting with Craig very soon to verify the jurisdictional stream & wetland
areas within the entire project area. Due to the absence of jurisdictional features in the
proposed substation location, we request that the proposed substation project be allowed to
move forward with erosion control and applicable DENR permits.
Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you soon. Jay
