Yes, it's a GP 50.
Thanks

Hey Dave - yep, it's for a GP 50 / GC 4135 (unless USACE/Lori wants to use something different, but that's what I put on
the PCN application)
Lori - I've attached the tribal coordination packet above. I obtained responses from the Catawba Tribe and UKBCI. Both
had no specific concerns, but just asked that we notify them if Native American artifacts and / or human remains are
located during the ground disturbance phase of this project. We are happy to include both of their requests in the
project commitments.
So, I'm thinking that's everything for this one..... but let me know if you need anything else and thanks!

The 401 application was for a GP50 as I recall.

Soundsgood!
Glad you mentioned the ESA concurrence letter — I completely forgot to send that to you. I'll forward my
correspondence with USFWS, and their concurrence letter, to you in a separate email in just a second.
Thanks,

Hi Kevin,
You're welcome.
Outstanding items-
- The 401 WQC. If it's an individual WQC, I'll need to coordinate it with the EPA
(that usually takes 2-3 days to complete).
- ESA concurrence letter and the information you sent them for consultation.
- Any tribal responses (understand the 30 days isn't complete yet).
Regards,
Lori

Thanks Lori!
Just checking to see if there are any other issues / things that either of you need from me regarding the permits for this
one. The 30 day tribal notification period ends April 271", and I haven't obtained any responses from the tribes, but will
follow up on April 271" to confirm. I think, that's the only remaining item.
In the mean time, just want to thank you both again(!!), and let me know if there are any other permit needs.
Thanks,
Kevi n

According to this ledger that's attached, Wildlands has the credits listed as cool stream credits, so the impacts are in kind
with the mitigation credits.

Hey Lori,
Regarding the first question - all the impacted streams are labeled as coolwater resources based on the USACE stream
temperature classification map.
I'll have to let Brad answer the second question, as I'm not sure
Thanks,
Kevin

So, the PCN (under E. 3) doesn't note what kind of stream will be impacted (cold, cool,
or warm). Please let me know.
Also, I didn't see that they have the same type (in -kind) available - I need to know that
to assign the correct ratio.

Lori

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the DMS letter.
Re the bank mitigation - why isn't the stream mitigation on a bank acceptance letter
with a POC for the bank (so we can send the MRTF to them)? I also need an
acceptance letter so I know which HUC the mitigation is located in and if the mitigation
is in -kind or not.
Regards,
Lori

Hey Lori and Dave,
Attached are acceptance letters regarding stream and wetland mitigation for U-5312. The wetland mitigation is coming
through DMS (0.06 acres at 2:1= 0.12 acres), but the stream mitigation needs are being obtained from a mitigation bank
(389' at 2:1 = 778'). The MRT form for the stream mitigation can be sent to Brad Chilton wbchilton@ncdot.gov, and he
will have the mitigation banker sign the form.
Thanks,
Kevi n
